Nurturing support for your birth and postpartum.
Services tailored to you
I’m so honored to be part of your birth journey and to support you every step of the way. As a birth doula, I provide compassionate, trauma-informed care to empower you through labor, birth, and the postpartum period. My services include a free consultation where we can connect, discuss your birth vision, and address any questions or concerns you may have.
Along with the consultation, I offer three prenatal visits to help you prepare for labor, explore coping strategies, and ensure you feel confident in your choices. After your baby arrives, I provide two postpartum visits to help you navigate the early days of parenting with comfort and support.
With a deep respect for your individual needs, experiences, and preferences, I am committed to offering a safe and empowering environment throughout this transformative journey. Together, we’ll create a birth experience that feels right for you.
I’m here to support you as you transition into the beautiful, sometimes challenging, early days of parenthood. With over 10 years of experience working with infants and young toddlers, I bring a wealth of knowledge and a compassionate, trauma-informed approach to my postpartum doula services. My goal is to help you feel confident, supported, and nurtured during this transformative time.
My postpartum services include a personalized plan that offers either 10 visits, each 3 hours long, or 5 visits, each lasting 6 hours. During these visits, we’ll address any questions or concerns, whether it’s infant care, breastfeeding support, or emotional well-being. I also work closely with your support people, teaching them how to better support you and help create a smoother transition for everyone in your household.
Together, we’ll ensure you feel empowered and cared for as you adjust to life with your little one. I believe in providing a safe space where your unique needs and experiences are honored, and I’m here to walk alongside you as you navigate this special, but often overwhelming, time with gentle guidance and support.

What People Are Saying
“Mabel is the most caring and kind person, and I'm forever grateful for her support during the birth our daughter. She was amazing at helping us settle in our birthing space, creating a calm environment and ensuring that we were ready and comfortable. After a challenging birth of our firstborn, this birth was so drastically different thanks to Mabel. We felt so safe and supported in each contraction and each decision. I left the hospital feeling like my birth experience was so beautiful and full of love. Thank you Mabel for caring for all of us, we couldn't have done it without you!!!”

“I cannot praise Mabel enough for her invaluable support during the early weeks of parenthood. As a new mom recovering from a C-section, her assistance and support was really appreciated. She helped us with a number of tasks, from bringing me my breast pump for middle of the night feeds to cleaning bottles and pump parts. Additionally, her willingness to tackle chores like folding baby's laundry ensured that we could focus on bonding with our newborn without the added stress of chores. She even baked me snacks specifically tailored to promote lactation. Her non-judgmental demeanor fostered a comfortable environment where I felt at ease expressing my concerns, raising questions and seeking guidance. Her support also allowed my husband and I to sleep and rest, which was particularly crucial for my recovery post-surgery. With Mabel’s assistance, we were able to navigate the challenging early days of parenthood with greater ease and confidence, and for that, we are very grateful. I wholeheartedly recommend her services to any new parents in need of support!”

“Mabel was absolutely amazing during my pregnancy and labor and after delivering! She helped me answer so many questions and gave so much great advice on all of the different things that come up during this process. I had a hard labor and couldn't of done it without her and my husband, Mabel made me so comfortable at the hospital and showed my husband ways he could support me and turned the hospital room into a space that felt more like a spa. She put me at ease and helped me in the tub and communicating with the hospital staff and also helping me with being as comfortable as possible during my hospital stay, she was up with me the whole time and made sure I had everything i needed and more. I cant put into words how much I appreciated all that she has done for us on this journey!”

“Oh goodness, do we cherish Mabel! Her sweet soul came into our lives when our newborn arrived four weeks early and we simultaneously had an untimely family death. We hadn’t yet gotten around to setting ourselves up with postpartum support and Mabel built us into her schedule on very short notice. She helped us adjust to all parts of new parenthood and caring for a premie infant. Mabel was an amazing resource to us for so many topics- lactation, pumping, sleeping, postpartum recovery, infant soothing, nutrition, cloth diapering, sustainable baby products, safe sleeping practices, childcare and nanny tips etc etc. She was even watering our dead plants for us. We are so grateful for her confident and trustworthy presence. It put us at ease knowing we weren’t in this adjustment period alone and could have the support we need to physically and emotionally be great parents for our daughter. I know all doulas are baby whispers, but Mabel has some extra special superpowers when it comes to connecting with babies. Thank you, Mabel!”

“I cannot recommend Mabel highly enough as a postpartum doula! From the moment she arrived, it was clear that she was going to be an incredible support for us. Mabel was absolutely amazing with our baby boy, Cooper. He just adored her hair and bubbly demeanor it brought so much joy to our home!
What impressed me the most was how informative Mabel was. She really eased our anxiety during those daunting “firsts” we experienced with Cooper, like giving him baths and figuring out how to carry him in a baby wrap. She also introduced us to cloth diapering! Her guidance made all the difference.
What truly stood out was Mabel’s dedication to helping my husband learn how to best support me during this time, especially since I was the one breastfeeding and spending most of the time with Cooper. She empowered him with practical advice and tools, which made me feel very seen and supported through what was undoubtedly a challenging period. Her guidance fostered a great partnership between us as new parents and gave him the confidence to step in and help when I needed it most.
Mabel did an excellent job, and I am so grateful for everything she did during this special time. If you’re looking for someone to support you on your postpartum journey, I highly recommend Mabel! She is a gem!”
